Carmen Proctor

Biography

Behind the new team of talented design professionals at Decor&You in south Denver is an accomplished business executive, Carmen Proctor. She was a state champion tennis player as a youth in her native Puerto Rico prior to pursuing a U.S. education, earning a BS from M.I.T. in Boston, followed by a Master’s from Georgetown University in Washington, D.C. During a 15-year corporate career, she spent three years working throughout South America where she cultivated a love for collecting original sculpture and art. Gracing her entry hall in the Denver home she now shares with her husband and two children is Carmen’s most treasured piece: an original mother and child sculpture by a Nicaraguan artist, 18-inches tall, made of hand-painted clay and featuring vibrant, earth-natural tones of red, gold and ocean blue.

Design Team Leadership
Carmen’s design team includes Whitney Mackintosh and Mary Corkin. Together, the Decor&You of Denver team has over 40 years of cumulative interior decorating experience, including extensive professional training and industry certifications. Each member of the team puts her creativity and passion into work with all Decor&You clients. We carefully manage the time and money people invest in their décor to achieve beautiful, fully decorated spaces in homes and businesses.
